Before you buy
Will this hurt my cat's skin?
No — the pins are fine stainless steel with rounded tips, set into a flexible pad that gives way under pressure. The technique matters more than the tool: let the brush's own weight do the work instead of pressing down. If your cat flinches, you're pressing too hard.
My cat hates being brushed. Will this help?
Probably — but not on day one. Most cats that "hate brushing" learned to hate it from long sessions and pulling at mats. Start with thirty seconds on the back only, while she's already relaxed or eating, and stop before she asks you to. Do that daily and the tolerance builds.
Is this right for my cat's breed?
We built this for Ragdolls. Their coat is fine and silky, and the pins pass between the layers to lift loose hair from below the surface — which is where mats start.
It works on other long-haired breeds too, and it handles the daily brushing fine. But on a Persian or a Maine Coon, the dense zones — the britches, the ruff, the belly — need a tool built for that, and no slicker brush is. If a shop tells you one brush covers every coat, they're telling you what you want to hear.
We don't make that tool yet. When we do, we'll say so. Until then, we'd rather you know before you order than after.
Will the pins reach the skin on a really thick coat?
Not on their own — and no slicker brush does. On a Maine Coon's britches or a Persian's belly, the coat is deeper than any brush head. Anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something.
That's why this comes with a method rather than just a tool. You lift the coat with your free hand and work one layer at a time, from the skin outward. The technique is what reaches the skin. The brush is what makes it quick.
Can I use it on a short-haired cat, a kitten, or a senior cat?
Yes. Short-haired cats shed just as much, they just show it less. For kittens and senior cats, keep sessions shorter and use a lighter touch. It works on dogs too.

How long does delivery take?
12–20 business days to the US and Canada. We ship directly from our manufacturing partner instead of holding inventory — that's why this is $29.99. Your checklist, Ragdoll sheet, and tracker arrive by email immediately, so you can start the method while the brush is on its way.
When do I get the files?
Immediately. The download links are in your order confirmation email. Check your spam folder if you don't see it within a few minutes.
Will I get a tracking number?
Yes. You'll get a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships.
How big is it? Can it be cleaned?
7.5 × 20 cm, about the size of a TV remote. Press the button and the fur lifts off in one pad. For a deeper clean, wipe with a damp cloth and air-dry. Don't soak it — the retract mechanism isn't sealed.
Will I be charged customs or import fees?
US orders: almost certainly not — tariffs are already covered in what we pay to ship. Canadian orders: customs occasionally charges GST or a handling fee. Either way, send us the receipt and we'll refund it in full.
